Authors Courtney and Brit Dunlop have 13+ years of beauty experience, but it wasn’t that long ago that they too were trying to get their first jobs in the industry. With no connections, no guidance, or any plans to follow, they moved from Missouri to New York City and worked their way up from the bottom. In Break Into Beauty, the sisters share their own tried-and-true advice for landing a job (it worked for them!), and draw from their extensive network of beauty business insiders to find out exactly what employers want, and, most importantly, how you can become what they’re looking for.
